November 1

Helllllllo. Apparently west just isn't that good this year. oh well...I don't really care all THAT much...it's just high school! haha. That's kind of lame about jordan being scratched off. stupid stuff. haha jordan has to deal with it! I have only an hour and I just about ran out of time writing to him! haha.

It sounds like your halloween was cool! Ours was lame...just stayed inside because no body wants us knocking on their door for halloween haha. I don't get it...isn't the rule supposed to be that if the light is off on the porch you don't knock? we were over at some members house who wasn't handing out candy and they got knocked on like 3 times. It's really weird.

haha I like how you had a goofy halloween party...Halloween has just turned into ridiculousness anymore. It's like I don't even want to celbrate it anymore haha.

Sounds like a pretty ridiculous one though. You drove all over the place. haha. That lady at the haunted house deal sounds stupid. People are just way to impatient and inconsiderate. Everyone is so selfish now...

You better not have let them go trick or treating! That's sunday! I hope that wasn't the case...haha I loved the pumpkins though. Especially the tetris one, which I assume was ryans. haha.

The solo went ok. That day was nuts and we had to teach a third hour lesson with the combined priesthood and relief society and we had 4 investigators at church so we had to keep an eye on them and get them rides and stuff. it was insane. But you know...it all worked out thankfully.

I'm glad the advice helped! I try to apply that but sometimes it's a little hard. But It really doesn't bother me anymore.

ok heres the deal with the moriancumr thing. Go to ether 2:13. It talks about How the brother of jared and all them were preparing for there journey and ended up at this place that they called moriancumr. now why did they call it that? There is a footnote at the word moriancumr. It goes to alma 8:7. Which talks about how the people named their lands after the man who first owned them. Now who was the leader of the jaredites? well obviously the brother of jared. since he was the prophet at the time. So what can we conclude here? the land was named after the brother of jared, who is called, at least in part, moriancumr. now the mohonri part? That has to do with an even that happened in the beginning of the church where Joseph Smith was blessing and naming a child and named him Mohonri Moriancumr. When asked why he was given that name, he said he had it revealed to him that was the name of the brother of Jared. You could probably find it in the history of the church volumes.

So anyways yeah. thats it. haha.

That's so crazy they are coming home soon...gah. I don't even wanna think about that. When they come home I'll only have a few months left...ridiculous.

Well anyways...I'm doing pretty good all in all. I will tlak to you later though alright?

Love you all a ton.

october 12

Hey Hey!

SO the zone p-day was great! we had a ton of fun. We just played volleyball and watched joseph smith prophet of the restoration. which reminds me! How in the world did you know that movie existed, let alone get it and send it to me?! Thank you for that I really do appreciate it, I was just wondering where you got it! It's pretty funny cause that dvd is like...the rare item that makes missionaries think they are cool haha. Like "oh man did you hear elder soandso has prophet of the restoration?!" hahaha so funny. so I guess I'm the cool guy now. :P

Yeah the ipod is working great, the only problem was that the charger didn't work! Like I tried it all over the house with different outlets and stuff. So I had to buy a new one. So yeah, that's what I bought at walmart...it was stupid how expensive it was. But I didn't have any other options since walmarts not in our area and we don't get to go there very often.
Mom you don't know how much it means to me to know you are loving the scriptures! I love em too...I've gotten some choice revelation from them lately that has changed some stuff. I've been struggling with stuff going on out here lately and it's helped alot. Make sure you pay more attention to how you feel when you read versus what you understand! I'm in alma 25 right now...I love alma...just so much good stuff!
I totally would be putting all those conference talks on my ipod right now but some members are putting the music on my ipod for me since I don't have time or the means to do it myself. ha. I love conference! I'm going to put the conference cds I have on there along with the past two!

haha the tape was great mom. It was like a breath of fresh air sitting there and listening to y'all talk. I loved it. It just makes me happy hearing everyones voices. Oh my gosh ryan doesn't even sound the same anymore. He's totally got a much deeper voice. Jordans still the same though...haha. Love you jordan!

oh gosh yeah the solo...I don't know we'll see. haha. I hope it's good. but I mean honestly, I'm not a very good singer, but I do feel like it's gotten better since I left! haha.

so I apparently only get a half hour today and not a full hour because of this weird library in petersburg but that's why I may not cover everything! haha.

I loved the picture of ryan...haha he just looks so goofy! haha. braces are fun...haha.

That's smart to do with jordans test. I kinda wish I had done that :P haha oh well.

OH! So quick story I needed to tell you. We are having a baptism this saturday :) and I got a call and he wants me to do it. So I'm excited to just be a part of it. He wants to serve a mission too. He is only 19 so he could totally do it. I'm so excited...he is one of those investigators that when he gets baptised I would be totally content with my mission...just being able to help someone grab onto the gospel like he has...just makes EVERYTHING worth while.

Mom I only have a few minutes left but I just wanted to say...I love the Gospel. I love what it gives me. I can't ever express the feelings of joy I feel from the things I have experienced here. The Atonement is....absolutely priceless. To see it coming to effect in someones life is something I will never forget. The effects it has in my life...help me to know even though I'm not perfect, I can still do the Lord's work.

Anyways. I love you all so much.

Hello FAMILY

I have no idea what hijo means? ha. I never got any letter from dad. are you sure you are sending it to the right address? P.O. Box 964 Wakefield, VA 23888 I'm excited to actually get some mail! I haven't gotten any this whole week! haha. oh wait that's a lie! I got a suit! from you! haha thank you so much for that!

The pictures are sweet! Jordan looks like a little stud! haha. No but seriously the pictures are awesome thank you for sending that. I'd attach more than one picture on here but I'm pretty sure it would bounce back and I don't want that. haha.

You and Aunt Lorna are sad! haha. Who hunts rocks?! I hunt cotton. seriously there are cotton fields all around out here. One of these cotton bails is worth a quarter of a million dollars. haha it's insane but they are HUGE bails. Like bigger than two cars. So yeah.
well actually. we set two people for baptism this week! It was sweet! The first one was a 19 year old guy who we set the first time we taught him, and another was this lady that has been taught alot who finally understood why! haha. I love the scriptures...2 nephi 31 helps people understand why we are baptized so well...yes!

haha general conference in a snuggie? wowoowowow. We are going to be watching it in the comfort of an old quaker church! haha. I have to take a picture of these stained glass windows...there are two pains that have this rare mineral in em that makes em worth like 10,000 dollars each! crazy eh? haha.
That's so cool about Jordan getting set apart. I like to hear about that stuff so let me know!

Anyways, I'm sorry the letter is so short...I don't have much to say this week! I love ya and I'll talk to ya later!

Totally forget to tell you this!

I got attacked by a dog this week! haha it was really weird...it was super friendly and whatnot and we walked up to this house and it was totally fine and then we start walking away and all of a sudden I hear the dog like growling mean and my companion is like "oh my gosh!" haha. I turn around and see it running at me and I kind of lean in to hit the dog and he bites my calf and then I hit him with my BoM and he goes away. He didn't break skin or anything it wasn't really a bad bite, but it was just crazy.

we also had a guy tell us he wanted us to have the prophet call him and when we didn't do it he freaked out on us...but that's an entirely different story...haha.

anyways much love!

Life in wakefield is actually going great! I've only gotten one letter and that was from mom, but I'm assuming that the rest will show up soon? But I really appreciate the one you did send...it helped me a lot. I'm doing really good. elder parker is really quiet, but we have fun. we got along good. I'll attach more pictures (because I can only send two per email maybe) but our apartment is an old divided up house (into three other apartments) that's over a hundred years old! haha. our area is big, it covers all of sussex and surry county. Surry nuclear plant is in our area apparently, but I haven't seen it yet. We live in the town of wakefield, which is basically a town formed around highway 460. But we cover a bunch of other little towns including surry, waverly, spring grove, claermont, dendron, and a bunch of towns that only are towns because they have post offices in them haha. Sussex county was the last county in virginia to get a stop light. haha. But this is what happened when we pulled in on thursday afternoon. we showed up with the member who gave us a ride, and realize we don't have the keys for the house or the car. haha. so we try to find ways to break in but then realize that there is no way in. so we wait for a while and then thankfully our branch president works in richmond so the zone leaders were able to get the keys to him and then he brought them to us. so we got to talk with him and set up a time to come over and talk with him about the work in the branch. This was probably the most important thing we could do, save talking with our branch mission leader, but since he was outta town this is what we had to do. so we did that and things have just been working out great. It's been awesome how well it's all worked out. I'm surprised; most country areas are a struggle to get moving. but we are getting blessed lately.

But overall things are going great. we are teaching a few people. The most promising right now is a man named charles who came to church on sunday, and a friend of one of our members named Kristin. it's so cool to see the work progress in this peoples lives...it makes all the struggles worth it. A cool experience we had last night; we had an appointment set up by the other elders with a potential investigator named victor, and his family. His whole family is hispanic and only he speaks english. So theres this member that was recently reactivated and runs these resteraunts in surry and waverly called "la hacienda," and he came with us, because he speaks spanish being from mexico city himself. so we go in there and we dcided we were gonna watch a dvd about the restoration in spanish with them. so we start talking and then we start watching the dvd and afterwards we get talking and victor just starts talking about how he doesn't feel peace in his life and he just wants to be able to feel that again. he grew up in mexico city right next to the temple. he went to the visitors center and everything. The member (his name is Brother Dosamentes) talk to us afterwards and was just like, I don't normally talk that much elders...but it felt like I needed to speak because we were so much alike. It was just an awesome experience. I love how it all works out!
That's so cool that ryans gonna be a teacher...holy cow no way is he 14....He'll be just about to turn 15 when I come home! AUGH. too FAST. haha I didn't really like that gaming chair anyways haha. It was a pain. You should ask ryan what he wants from me for his birthday. I'll do my best to find what he wants! haha not much possibilty out here in the country! haha.

The weather has been great the last couple of days. but you can definitely tell fall is starting to roll in. No hurricanes after Earl. Tropical storm Fiona was supposed to hit us but fizzled out! haha. I bet you I would be freezing back home. Especially without the humidity. Elder Beus' brother came out before we left and we had lunch with him and he was just cooking in the heat when we were just fine haha. we probably wont even get any snow! It barely snows here, we just had a freakwinter last year. I never drove i nthe snow. but I might this year! crazy eh? haha.

Like I said, the new companion is awesome. he's from san Diago. He's a funny guy. He's got a tiny gray stripe in the front of his hair. Like, in x-men. The girl who has the grey in her hair, like her. haha.
thank you so much for all you've done...it really helps make things better out here. I don't think I'm losing much weight? haha. I don't even know anymore, we don't have a scale! ha.

By the way, the pictures! The first one is of elder beus, sister henrie (so you know what she looks like) and me! and the second is our house! haha.

anyways, I love y'all and I will talk to you next week!

love always,
your son.

Transfer time again?

Hello family!

First off, wanted to tell ya I'm getting transferred. The area is getting closed down. Btw, new address is this:

P.O. Box 964
Wakefield, VA 23888

So yes. This past week has been rough. We were told we were probably gonna be taken outta the area because they were gonna close it down. And I felt really bummed about that. It's just been really hard lately with all this stuff. It finally culminated a couple nights ago when I just...broke down. I haven't cried like that in a long time. But I got a blessing from some of the other elders and my companion. So it helped. I've just felt like a failure. All these good things are happening when I get into an area and then they fall off. But I'm excited because this new area we are getting shotgunned in (both elders coming in are new to the area). So we get a fresh start and new things happening. I am excited to start over.

I'm also a district leader again, so that's fun. It's always a challenge but something fun to be able to help other elders.

The companion thing is working out. I mean we don't always get along but we work it out. I don't know what's gonna happen with the new comp. we'll have to see. His name is elder parker.

I do need to relax. A couple days ago an elder got mad at me for calling him before 10 (cause we aren't supposed to do that except in an urgent situation since that is our study time) and it like, gave me a anxiety attack...it's weird...I don't understand why I get all wound up, it just happens. So I am trying to work on it.

That's awesome that jordan won...I really hope he does well. He has so much potential to do great things, but he's like me and doubts himself. He needs to build his confidence now!

haha that will be awesome to get the Pond done. definitely need to send me the pictures of the finished product. haha today was the first day of school here. we saw all these kids leaving the apartment complex today. haha kids love going back to school, they just pretend they hate it...because lets face it, they ARE bored haha.

haha you're getting rid of the gaming chair? haha GOOD. that thing was annoying anyways. Tell aunt lorna that I am gonna write them all back things have just been hectic the past two p-days.

haha oh my gosh ryan is 14...that's crazy! Actually that's good that ryan wants wii games over a cell phone...Don't persuade him otherise! He doesn't need it AT ALL. haha. I'll tell you what, I walked into a gas station the other day and I saw an ad for a video game that's coming out and I was like, geeking out about it. haha.

Ryan will get into it. He'll have fun at the dances EVENTUALLY. haha.

I have to cut it short today, but I love you so much, and I sent you another email with something to you and dad about the ipod.

I hope your week is good, and if you have any questions you can call the mission office and they'll answer it for ya!

Love you,
Your son.

Ipod mania!

BOY! Yeah...it's not so bad heat wise anymore. We get random storms rolling in often. Like they roll in like in 20 minutes and they are completely gone an hour later haha. But when they hit boy do they hit! Usually the rain is the worst because it causes tons of humidity but this last one it wasn't bad at all. So hurray for that.

I loved the tie! I would wear it more if I could. But I only wear silk ties when it starts getting cooler and on sundays. Cause sweat will ruin the tie. Silk ties stain REALLY easy. So yeah. Some of the best types of ties are Donald Trump (you can find at burlington coat factory) and the other nice silk ones. Polyester is good for summers, but those ones you can really only find at like goodwill and stuff. They don't really make polyester ties anymore.

no no credit card. I'll call em after I leave here.
Tell Grandma I say Hi and I love her and Grandpa and miss them tons!

wendover eh? Man you think the storms there are bad...you should see the storms we have here. It's incredible. I know who cindy lauper is...haha that's so funny that she was there...she sounds kinda washed up! ha.

I would love to see those pictures! Send em to me when you can!

I remember going with paul and kyle and swimming at that park for 8 hours once...haha. do you remember that? we got so sunburned it was awful. That's cool you got to go though...I have kind of forgotten what it's like to swim? haha. just kidding.

Team building stuff is where it's at for football. THat's what helped us win state! That's cool that jordan is learning all that. Like what kind of stuff was he learning? That's awesome that they took away the phones! haha it's what they should do to keep em focused.

Before I forget! OK. So this last thursday we had a zone conference where our mission president informed us that we are now allowed to us ipods! SO. What I was wondering is. does jordan use his ipod touch that often? Like would he be willing to let me borrow it for the rest of my mission? ;D The reason I ask for the ipod touch instead of my ipod is because they were talking about it at the zone meeting and president gave us permission to use it to show people the church websites and stuff so I would love to be able to have an ipod touch because I can put scriptures and preach my gospel and all this other stuff on it. you would have to take all of jordans music off it and (if it still exists?) put all my church music that's on the downstairs computer on it and then find the preach my gospel stuff. maybe (and of course this is all if jordan will let me use it) dad can do all that stuff. The reason why I want either jordan's ipod touch or my ipod is because it would save me SO much space so I didn't have to haul around my cds everywhere. SO please consider it at least. Thank you! I would also need the sync cable, an auxilary cable (dad would know what that is) and maybe my fm tuner if it still exists? So please let me know whether or not you can send me something, whether it be jordans ipod or mine. I don't know what dad's done with mine since I left but anyways.

The mail isn't a big deal. I really don't care that much about getting mail. It's just like a bonus to know someone is still making an effort to write you. you know?

I love you mom and I love Dad and Jordan and Ryan. You guys are the best and I look forward to the day when I get to see y'all again! haha.

Thanks so much and I love you! BTW here's some pictures: (I really don't know why we were jumping but we felt like it? haha. So. yeah. anyways.)

Love you! Bye!

august 9th

haha you know what was funny? Thursdays have been bad news for us lately! Even though I didn't get hurt this last thursday, we had a major (and I mean MAJOR) storm this last thursday. Mom it was literally the worst storm I've ever been in! haha. We were driving, and we saw this storm rolling in and heard the thunder and saw some lightening but we didn't think it was that bad. we got out of our car and were like "oh we can make it to this house before this storm hits" and we take like 10 steps and we get like 4 bolts of lightening striking all at once and super close. so we are like uhhhh no. we are getting back in the car. hahaha. Oh my gosh so we got back in the car and the lightening starts and starts raining HARD. Then we start getting lightening thats striking like, with 100 feet of us. It was SCARY. Like you would see the flash and the bolt and would hear the thunder IMMEDIATELY. It was like an explosion. Like a cannon going off in our car. Holy cow. ANd then the wind picked up and It was all three, super windy, lightening, and rain. It went on for about an hour. At one point it was raining 3 inches an hour. It was crazy. We also had some funnel clouds form (pre-tornadoes) but never touched down. It ripped down trees and stuff. It was crazy. People said this is what happened last time they had a hurricane (bunch of severe storms then a hurricane later on) so we'll see what happens. Supposedly we are supposed to have another storm this thursday/friday. It has been the worst summer virginia has had in a long time. Like, the average temperature for july was 94.6 I think? And many times way over that. Man!

ok to answer your questions 1. No I didn't mess up my shirt 2. The bike is fine as far as I can tell, but the bike seat is destroyed I'll have to find a new one 3. we drive a car, we just were biking cause we were outta miles, so we are just driving now 4. No, didn't get dad's message unless you mean the "it's just a sprain, walk it off" thing. If it was that yes. I did. haha. 5. No the card hasn't come yet. Hoping it comes in the mail today. we'll see.

alright. that answer your questions? haha.

Yeah I got the package thank you so much for it! It was perfect and had everything I needed. Thank you! Yeah I was kinda upset myself but I couldn't really do anything about it. It was either pay the fine or go to jail? so i was like yeahhh....haha.

yeah the cd burning thing you can just send em to me whenever you can. no worries on the shirts. They are actually nice because of how they are put together. So thank you so much for that. I appreciate it. You guys are the best!

I'm not even in the sling anymore! I only wore it until my arm felt good enough to move around. Because the doctor told me it wasn't that big of a deal. so I still have pain in the shoulder but not very severe. Only when I move it in a certain direction.

Sheesh jordan. haha I can't believe he let them do that. That was just dumb. haha. my wrist is fine, I just wear this velcro black brace and it keeps it protected. when I take it off it hurts to bend it but obviously. haha.

I'll do whatever you want me to do on the medical thing. just tell me what to do and I'l ldo that from now on.
I'll defintely keep an eye out for dads letter. I would LOVE TO HEAR FROM HIM *HINT HINT DAD* haha no I know he is busy and I understand so no worries there. I'll keep an eye out for letters from aunt lorna.

That's awesome you taught jordan and ryan those scriptures. Those scriptures are what's gonna teach them to choose the right. You can tell them to do something all you want (do your chores, stopping fighting, be nice to people) but unless they understand the doctrine behind WHY you need to do that, they won't follow it. That's what I've come to learn.
HAHAHAHA that's so awesome that ryan had a good experience at scout camp. I laughed pretty hard at his fish story. That kid is awesome. Tell him that I tried to email him but it came back for some reason?

Tell jordan to go even if his hands hurt! Don't give him an excuse to chicken out. It'll help him grow more than he can udnerstand right now. So don't let him chicken out!

The campout sounds fun. I want to camp so bad. That would be so much fun haha. I'm looking forward to doing that when I am home again.

Tell ryan to get out and do stuff! video games will do nothing for you in the long run! haha. The wii is fun and so are games but really they don't matter in the long run. You can do some much more fun stuff outside! haha. Jordans got the right idea. haha.

Sis. Henrie is on a mission in virginia. She is from Pengwich Utah. I think. At least that's how she says it. but She is great! She calls us when we have mail! haha. She loved the card and was so grateful for it.

With the facebook deal, just check to see where they are from! If they are from virginia, add them! Yeah I'm sure facebook is going to get just as corrupted as myspace is/was. It kinda bugs me now. I don't know if I wanna have a facebook when I get home. we'll see.
I haven't run into andy. where is he?I thought you said clover hill but I asked the missionaries there and they don't know him at all.

The yard looks awesome! It's cool to see the yard again haha. Y'all did a good job on it.

tell dad to hold his horses on the cake! He needs to eat better like me! haha.

That's pretty hilarious that neil crashed too. I'll have to write him! haha.

Well anyways. I love y'all. Have a good week and keep praying for us missionaries cause the work never stops! Love ya!

hunter

The big bike accident!!

haha alright! The fact that I can type is a good sign is it not? ALRIGHT. This is what happened ;)

elder beus and myself were biking down this road when we realized that we had missed the turn we were going to take. So we turn around and start going back. I didn't know exactly where we were going so I started following elder beus and all of a sudden he crosses the road. and I'm just like uhhh....so I start looking for traffic so I can cross and unbeknownst to me I was getting closer and closer to the edge of the pavement and I then slid off the edge of the pavement and hit a hole, which turned my wheel sideways and I flipped over the handle bars and landed on my shoulder and then slammed my wrist on the ground. I got up and at first nothing really hurt more than usual. I noticed that my wrist was popping and grinding and I remembered that from the first time I broke my wrist haha. So I called our mission medical person and told em what happened and bythe time I got off the phone my shoulder was just aching. So we get a member to pick us up and went to this urgent care place he xrayed everything and told me I had a chip fracture in my left wrist but the shoulder looked normal.

So today I went to the orthopedic person and they told me that, yes, my wrist was broken and that all I needed was to wear this velcro brace and it will heal eventually, and then also my shoulder has a ligament that is slightly torn but theres nothing you can do about it because 1. it's so small and 2. it's not that severe and will just heal on it's own. So all in all I am alright. But today has been all over the place. I haven't been able to see if the package came yet, I haven't even been to the office yet. So yeah. This week has been one of adversity for sure. Lost my wallet, cancelled my cards, wrecked my bike, and then yesterday got a letter in the mail telling me my liscence was suspended! So dumb! It was for the bike light thing that happened in new kent! the courthouse lady said it was taken care of but apparently NOT. So I now have to pay a 61 dollar fine by wednesday or they'll be a warrant out for my arrest! haha you must be either mad at me or laughing your head off! I'll tell you I am laughing about it so yeah. haha.

ANYWAYS.

Yeah I'm not in a ton of pain, just taking care of it all. The two shirts I lost were sent home to you cause they were stained. I got the other two short sleeved ones they are like, thicker than my other ones! haha I wanted to get thinner shirts cause it was hot! haha but that's fine they work just as good ;) thank you!

Like I said I havne't been able to check for the package yet but I will do it later on.
No worries about the cd I'll be waiting.

Yeah I did see sis pigg and her mom. It was funny you'll have to talk to her about it when you see her. I made a fool of myself but what else is new? haha. ask her about what I said about lions! haha.
The mission has gone by faster than you can ever know. I am afraid of when it has to end because I know it will eventually. But I'm not gonna think about it too much cause I still have a long time before I have to go home! haha. About the school deal, I'm not gonna worry too much about it, cause my mind has changed alot in the past few months so I'll see what happens as I get closer to next august.

But thank you for your advice. You are right and I'm gonna rethink alot of that stuff. So we'll see what happens.

Anyways. So cool experience I had sunday. Ill tell you a secret. I've been really struggling with elder beus. He is young as to the mission and he is struggling a bit with aspiring to leadership positions and not being the most obedient in some aspects. I've also caught him in some bold face lies he's told me and others, so I don't know what else he is lying about. It hasn't been huge issues or anything, he's the greatest. My struggle has been I have this like, phobia, of causing contention. So I just don't say anything. I just don't want to make people mad. SO I just was struggling with this. and I was fasting for help with this on sunday. and I was sitting in sacrament meeting (fast and testimony meeting, with the scripted kid testimonies and all) and I was just praying for Heavenly Father to help me with something. So I just flip open my scriptures and it plops open to Doctrine and Covenants section 121. I will tell you it is EXACTLy what I needed to hear. It taught me exactly how to help other missionaries when they are being disobediant without being like a nag or a holier-than-thou. so that was great. It was an excellent spiritual experience. I love the scriptures mom and there is SO MUCH in there. I can't accurately tell you how much I love em over the computer but you'll see how much I've learned when I come home haha.

funny thing that happened last time I was at the library. we were leaving and this guy walks up behind us and asks us "are you guys mormons?" and we were like, uhhh yeah and he hands us these papers and we are like what the heck. Just figured he would anti us. haha. His arguements in the paper were absolutely ridiculous and it was just funny. the reason I tell you this is because I'm pretty sure he's working up the courage to give me some more of these papers right nwo haha. he's been walking around for a while now. So funny. we'll see! Gotta love how people think they can anti us like this ha.

Tell me how scout camp went! Ryan will have a blast I bet. Jordan is a bum for nto going! haha.

I didn't lose my msf card thank goodness. They caught it before it got cancelled. So I'm good there. We also didn't go to the zoo but I attached a picture of my wrist and my arm haha. I look really sad don't I? haha.

Sis. Henrie is the best! She is so nice and cares alot about every missionary. She is really lonely her husband died about a year ago and she is still struggling with that. But we try to keep her spirits up.

There are plenty of people in the mission office to take care of me! haha. Sis. Henrie's companion is Sis. Smedley and every time I come into the mission office they both jump up to see how I am doing haha. It's great. I love being this close to the mission office.

Yeah So I am doing good!

I love you guys and thank you so much for being so quick to respond to help me out. Please stay safe and I'll look forward to talking to you next monday! To cheer up your day there is also a picture of Elder Beus in his footy pajamas! haha.

LOVE YOU

august 8th

haha alright!

I look really sad don't I? haha.

Yeah So I am doing good!

july 25,2010

hahaha thank you so much for figuring that all out...I was super worried about my social security card cause I thought it was in my wallet :X But THANKFULLY I had bought a safe box a while back and stuck it in there. So that was safe. I already cut up the cards so no worries there. I do have the checking account number in that box as well. But thank you for doing all that. Her name is Sister Henrie! She is the best. She helped out so much and did it real quick to help me out. I think I'm gonna hand that guy a El Libro De Mormon since he is spanish! haha.

Whoa! The pictures are great! I thought you were gonna expand the yard though! Not just get rid of the tree! I see you expanded it on the right side but I thought it was also gonna get expanded on the left! But nonetheless it's awesome! It looks great.
We are gonna go over this week sometime to see the armantrouts and see sister pigg and her mom! You know the older lady who is related to the piggs? she's here too! She recognized me real quick haha. Everyone just calls her grandma. haha.

NO! Oregon weather is not like virginia weather. It is not even close. haha I'm telling you it is completely different. It's kinda like utah when it comes to storms. It will have a big ol storm roll in and then dump rain for 15 minutes then it can be sunny again. Only difference there is that if it rains and then shines then you now have the humidity to deal with :X

Yeah those elders were great. I need to write elder larson. he's the man. Tell him I said that. haha

My gosh mom in a little over a week I am gonna be out 12 months aka ONE YEAR. It's way weird to think that there is only a year left. It's actually kind of scary. I am way intimidated by coming home. I don't even know what I'm gonna do. I am terrified of falling back into the way I was. Scary stuff.

Yeah I heard about the problems with the iphones. I also heard the released a fix for em lately so hopefully those problems will get fixed!

Yeah I don't know what I'm gonna do cause they may have had to cancel my msf card too. I'll find out when I leave the library. So yes. I got five dollars from Bishop Dunmire but that's about all I have to my name right now. haha. Just send the shirts and stuff as soon as you can! It's hot!

I'm going to the zoo today! It's free for missionaries! SWEEET deal. I'll attach a picture or two to make your day :) The first one is me looking suave in my suit, and the second is me, elder beus and Elder Fraga (pronounced Frog-uh) and Elder Doxey showing off the ties we stole from Elder Server! haha. anyways. Love ya!

Love y'all!
Your son.

July 18th 2010

HEY HEY!

Holy cow! It sounds like you had an eventfull week! haha

The p-day changed cause president monson wanted all the missionaries to have their p-days on mondays. so yeah? I guess it's just cause the prophet said haha. Oh I guess I misunderstood what you said about the fromes knowing him haha. He is the man. I just saw him at the mission office like 25 minutes ago. haha.

ok before I forget! I saw sister pigg! and I keep getting confused with who is related to who, but drews dads mom and grandma were in the bon air ward on sunday! I said hey and talked with em for a little bit. I think they are gonna be here for a while. Sister Piggs daughter is married to a man named Jack Armantrout who is in the bishopric of the ward! haha It was cool to see them again. Sister Piggs mom (drews great grandma I think) was sitting a couple rows behind us and I looked back and she was just beaming and I was like, holy cow! I know her! haha it was so cool.

haha Elder Beus is the man. I can tell he still has his greeny fire so I'm trying not to discourage that! haha. Brother williams IS the man. He is so cool he and his soon to be wife went with us to a lesson and they were so cool. haha I have actually GAINED weight since I came here. But I am working on eating better so I'm hoping it will go down soon. haha what do you mean I'm awesome!? hahaha. The house he sent was probably his! We live in an apartment complex. Definitely send him a picture of the family he would love that.

speaking of, we had an awesome thunderstorm last night. the thing about virginia is the weather is absolutely the most random thing ever. You can be on one side of town and it will be just DUMPING rain, and then you can go to the other side and it will be dry as a bone. Last night we were out and just start hearing this thunder and we were talking to this lady and lightening literally cracks RIGHT over head. It was intense. it got even worse later on into the night. we were in our apartment and it was just like the bottom drops out of the clouds and it just starts POURING rain. It was intense.

Alright I'll keep an eye out for the package when it shows up. Thank you so much for doing that! If you ever randomly (I'm not asking for it just if you happen to see some) see some ties that are made of 100% silk and you think they are nice, you should send them to me! Just letting you be aware! cause ties are the best! haha but seriously I'm not asking you to get it for me, just keep an eye out. I haven't got mail in a while! I got a wedding announcement from Elder LARSON! haha did you get that? That's pretty funny. I need to write him back for sure. He's the man!

Your car accident story sounds crazy! I bet that boy was grateful haha. I'm glad his name was hunter. He must've been a cool kid! haha. But seriously, I'm glad y'all are alright and not traumatized.

hahah the fire alarm in the library just went off and everyone just sat here and didn't move haha. That's how awesomely lazy everyone is here haha.

Your trip sounds awesome! I actually would've lvoed to go on that trip...missionary work makes you appreciate all those trips...haha.

hahaha That's so funny that rocky did that. HE IS THE BEST DOG EVER! haha. I miss him a ton!

haha well I gotta go! not alot else going on this week! I got to go on an exchange with one of my former companions the other day! that was cool. hope youre enjoying life! I'll tlak to y'all next monday!

love y'all

July 12th

So I was gonna send you more pictures but I left the camera in the car >.< Today has been ridiculous! I Forgot to tell you that p-days got moved to mondays :P So. From now on I'll be emailing you on mondays! haha.

Elder Beus isn't too new, about 6 or 7 months out. He's great! Funny and a great teacher. He's super tall too! haha. but a great companion. He helps me alot.

The pictures are awesome! The last picture is bro williams and sister harvey they are gonna get sealed in the temple eventually. Sis harvey is still sealed to her ex so she needs to annull the sealing so she can get sealed to bro williams. But he is so cool. you might get some more pictures from him I'm not entirely sure! haha. The camera is super awesome. It takes great pictures, just forgot it in the car :(

I would love some more short sleeve shirts haha...I ran out and was wearing the long sleeves during the days when it was 104+ out haha. So yeah...if you happen to find any good short sleeve shirts. Maybe of a different material? i don't know.

haha I aint doin no 5k! I can't do anything like that. I'll work on it and we'll see. haha. I'll watch y'all. Dad got to walk the first time so I will too! haha.

yeah...not a fan of the van driving. It's just like inflated and takes up more space than a car. haha. But y'know. I'm gettin over it.
Yeah I sent franks letter a couple of days ago. He is the man! haha you shoulda read that letter. He was way funny.

I am gonna try and send letters to grandma more frequently. I want to, I just never have the time to do it.

Tell Kyle when you see him to write me back! haha. Nah I'm just mplaying. He's the man. Tell andrea I say hey too!

haha mt. vernon is out of our mission! it's in the washington d.c. south mission. So no deal on that one. But we are really close to downtown richmond. we might go see the museum of the confederecy sometime. we are like on the west side of richmond. the person who owns the marriot hotels lives in our ward! haha. crazy eh?

but yeah so story about last night....gall.

so we were out working and decided to find around this potential investigator and so we knock around and then we walk down this drive way and talk to this guy for a second and all of a sudden these three early 20's people and an adult come out and start losing being super awkwardly nice to us and I just know somethings up. so all of a sudden the 20 something year old girl is like, lets talk! I'm just like....alright? so we walk over and sit on the porch and they asked us a couple things about what being a missionary was like and then all of a sudden the adult comes back and starts being super aggressive and asking me if I was gonna go to heaven when I die and just over all losing his mind on me. I didn't argue back I just was like, why are you being so aggressive? we aren't arguing, we are just talking here. so he gets all up in arms and continues to try to bash with us and we aren't fighting back so he continues to go off. then he finally walks away and dissapears and the kids just start asking questions again. I stuck around solely for the kids since they were being totally level headed and fine. so we start talking again and like 20 minutes later this crazy guy comes back with some papers he printed off the internet about some dumb anti and trys to get me to take it. and I'm just like, I really don't want that. And he's like "BE A MAN AND TAKE IT." and with those 6 words He completely destroyed any molecule of credibility he may have supposed to had. So I just took it and crumpled it up. He was just being a horrible bigot and attacking our faith when we wouldn't do the same back. It was ridiculousa nd I just wanted to sock someone afterwards. Which definitely made me know it wasn't of God.

So yeah. my crazy story of the week.

I'll talk to ya on next monday! I hope I answered everyhtingy ou needed! haha. If there's nayhitng else you need let me know.

Love y'all

Hunter

July 07, 2010

hahaha it's going good in richmond! But wait! before I tell you all about it I have a cool story to tell!

So we got our new mission president this last wednesday and he is so cool. His name is President James Perry. I had my first interview with him on monday and we talked about what he did before the mission. He was an area 70 in the northwest since he is from washington. He said he's been down to albany a ton of times doing stuff for the stake presidency there. the coolest thing was that you remember the story you told me about grandpa taking all those church officials on a tour of the spruce goose museum? Well President Perry was one of those guys! haha he met grandpa! it was pretty awesome finding that out!

But yeah richmond is the best. The work is going pretty good, elder bues is a cool guy just still kinda learning what's not good and what is. I think he gets a little nervous in teaching because he stutters a little. But he's still an awesome and powerful teacher. He is a great companion.

haha you should email me back that picture of me with the corn haha. cause that was on the third of july since we had church the next day. that was some DANG good corn on the cob! ha.

haha I don't even remember what the birthday wake up calls were...? I think I was going crazy that day because of all that was going on with the transfers. Maybe if I remember I'll ask ya. haha. By the way, I attached some pictures on the end of this email so yeah! that's with the new camera!

Yeah it is ridiculously hot here. I attached a picture of the temperature gage in our car yesterday. It was actually 104 but it went down to 103 before I could take the picture! haha. the best part is I ran out of clean short sleeve shirts so I was wearing a long sleeve shirt! haha so much FUN with a capital F. It's not been SO bad though.

YEAH! That's awesome y'all did the 5k. I think I might be able to do that...I know we bike WAY more than that each day so idk? haha. I'm glad dad did the 5k. It will keep him healthy! You should tell dad to write me! I haven't heard from him in a while. haha.

Your 4th sounds good. The 4th was just another day for us haha. I got to wear my 4th of july tie that I only get to wear once a year so that was sweet. we cover two wards so we were basically at church all day and then we ate dinner with a member of the stake presidency and his family. so yeah. not super exciting.

Oh. so I have decided I hate driving dodge caravans. Malibus or corollas are where it's at. I look like a fool driving that van! For some reason I turn into my 15 year old self driving that thing around.

Idaho falls is the best! You should go to rexburg and visit MAH HOMIES. actually non of them are there I think? I don't know. haha. you should go to yellowstone or somesing. are you already doing that?

haha jordan is gonna bug you to drive until he gets his own car to drive! hopefully he'll be good enough at driving so that when he gets on his own it won't be a big deal.

WHAT! THe whilhites are moving? so are the roses buying the house or just renting it? Tell brother rose I said hi and I forgot to write him back in that big group of letters but I really appreciate what he wrote! He helped a ton!

haha well sweet deal with the mikes address. I might try and shoot him an email and see if he gets it.

yeah scripture study is awesome. if I don't have a particular topic to study I just read a chapter at a time. I love picking apart the scriptures. The more and more you study it, the more and more you realize that there was just no way a 20 year old man with a 3rd grade education wrote the book of Mormon. There are way to many tiny intricacies in it for one man to have written it. It's those little parts that I love to find cause it gives me more of an understanding.

Well not much else to report. Got a letter from Frank today, gonna write him back. he's the man.

You guys have any questions bout the new area? ask me for next week!

Love you all!

Hunter

mom! oh man. first off! MAKE SURE YOU LET EVERYONE KNOW THIS. I got emergency transferred down to richmond, because another elder got real sick and had to go home. my new address is just the mission office address because we live with the assistants to the president right next to the mission office! haha. craziness. we cover two wards here, bon air ward and midlothian ward. My new companions name is Elder Bues. He's taller than michael jordan pretty much so that's intense. But he's way cool.

the address for me is now:

9327 Midlothian Tpke STE 1-B
Richmond, VA 23235

So crazy. found out on monday left this morning.

So thank you so much about the birthday. I had a blast except for the fact that I found out I was leaving on my birthday. I got a letter from both grandparents and already emailed grandma sorenson. But yes. itwas good!

thanks for the birthday wake up calls for everyone haha. I loved the facebook wishes as well. Tell them all how awesome they are and I love em.

So the stuff was unwrapped only because it had shifted around alot in the box. not like someone got into it. so it was just cause the stuff got moved around alot.

I loved the party favors! haha. I had my banner up for a little while but because of the emergency transfer pulled it down. so I had it for a little while! I took a picture! haha. I love you guys so much thank you. It made me feel really at home I guess haha. haha I noticed the price tag on the shoes so that's pretty intense! haha I'm thankful for that.

my birthday was great. my companions really made it good and I had a ton of fun. y'all are teh best family evah! haha.

yeah the heat has been ridiculous. but today has been a little better. it's like 80 but it feels wonderful compared to the 105 degree stuff we've been having. but yeah so that's awesome.
I am gonna miss virginia beach, especially my companions but I know we can make this new area just as awesome. we are gonna work hard and get these wards a cookin!
yeah we taught the guy from dominica right before I left and we taught him about patience and he totally udnerstands and is just doin awesome.

haha I'm so glad you liked the tapes. I don't know when I'll fill up another one. i haven't added to it in like 2 weeks. so we'll see. I would LOVE to hear y'alls voices at grandmas so definitely think about that one!

you guys are so awesome for doing that 5k. I'm in better shape hthan I was, but not THAT good enough shape haha. I still hate running! you know what's bene kind weird? I think I've gotten more coordinated haha. before i could never have juggled three tennis balls but I can pretty much do it now! it's weird. ANYWAYS. I wanna hear about how everyone does in the 5k deal. especially dad! haha.

haha I loved the pictures of the camping! haha you have no idea how much I miss rocky. that dog is the best! haha he sounds like he's still going strong though. I'm with ya on the camping thing. a week can be way too long if there isn't enough to do. just swimming and hiking definitely isn't enough! haha.

that's so coo about you finishing alma! It's crazy the more and more you stop reading the scriptures and the more and more you start STUDYING them, you get so much more insight into it. I mean it takes me like a half an hour now to study just one chapter, sometimes even longer. it's so awesome. I love the scriptures. the book of mormon is amazing, so many good things in there! I'm way proud of you mom! that's awesome you are still chuggin along. the war chapters actually go way fast so they are pretty easy to read. 3rd nephi is the best!

I'm excited to hear about your experience in idaho! My new companion is from idaho. Like, near boise. i haven't had a utah companion for a while! haha.

last night was my last night in virginia beach. so we go to teach this young single adult named andrew. he's black and lives in these projects in norfolk. we went out to see him and he's always pretty interesting to teahc. ANYWAYS. we were teaching him about the plan of salvation and everythingi s going pretty good, until we start teaching him about the atonement. up to this point we had no indication that he was anything but christian because he was agreeing with everything we were saying. so suddenly he's like, "I don't believe in God." we were just like uhhhh....? so he goes off on why he suddenly doesn't believe in god and telling us it's all fake and stuff. so I was starting to get kinda mad because he just being dumb and I felt very strong about it all so I said a few things to him and he starts talking and it gets to the point where he can't take that topic any further and then he asks us (in the middle of someone elses sentence by the way) "Well, what about dinosaurs?" we are just like, you have got to be kidding. we try to tell him that that question is completely irrelevant, but he says it is and just wont let it go. he starts talking about like, how important it is to know whether dinosaurs were before or after adam and eve. at this point i'm just like...we need to leave, this is dumb. he keeps going then starts talking about how god doesn't exist again. he then said probably the least-intelligent thing I have ever heard fall from someones mouth. well, BABIES don't believe in God when they're born? I was just like -_-#. I was about ready to slap this guy for how stupid questions he's asking. Like I don't knwo if theese are being conveyed over this email but we were dying of laughter and he was totally serious. but we go on trying to get him over these dumb concerns. then next thing we know, in the middle of Elder Faircloughs sentence, he asks, "well, how tall is God?" and without missing a beat (but being totally joking) elder fairclough just says. Six foot three. And we all (except andrew) just bust out in laughter.

you would not believe the ignorance of people sometimes. Andrew knows there is a God. He has so thoroughly convinced himself through poor arguements that he wants there to be no God. It's fun. but no, it's really not. I felt really sad afterwards because of what he chose. we had to drop him because he's not gonna go any further forward. it's way sad.

one cool thing is there was acrazy thunderstorm in virginia beach last night. so awesome. totally gonna get a hurrican sometime soon! haha.

well i love y'all. Please be safe. I am so grateful for what y'all are doing for me. oh! I hope the garments haven't been ordered yet! order them and send them to the mission office!

Love ya family!

your son.

hahahaha AHHH MOM! First! Before I say anything!

OH MY GOSH THIS WEEK HAS BEEN THE MOST RIDICULOUS WEEK EVER.

OK. SO. Wednesday. after we get done with p-day. at this point we have lost use of our phone. because we are getting anew one, but we aren't getting it until thursday. So yes. we decide we are gonna bike that evening. so we bike probably...15 miles to get to a members house and use his phone, but he's not there. so we are like, garbage. so we HAVE to make these phone calls because we need to get a ride to mission conference which happened to be the next day. so we start biking towards the nearest pay phone which is probably 10 miles away. we FINALLY get there, and at this point, it's probably 830. we make our calls and it starts to be really dark and we start biking towards home. so we get within LITERALLY 1 mile from home. and we hit some night road construction. so we stop with the flagger and wait. probably 20 minutes later the pilot car comes through the have us follow him and we head out. as we are biking, a state trooper who had passed by earlier FLIPS around and pulls right up behind us (keep in mind we are on BIKES) and so we think, oh maybe he's just giving us light so we can be safe. so we start biking. and not even 3 minutes later, we start passing this fire station, and the state trooper comes on over his loud speaker "hey you on the bikes. pull off to the left in the fire station." I'm just like...oh my gosh not again. so we pull off and he gets out and the first thing he says is everyone put your bikes on the curb. and I'm just like....ugh. he asks us for our id and then tells us we are in violation because we don't have the righ amount of LIGHTS on our bikes. I'm just like...ARE YOU SERIOUS? DO YOU NOT HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO? so he takes our idds and walks back to the car and makes us sit on the curb. 25 stinkin minutes later he comes out and gives us all fix it tickets (not fines, but orders to buy the lights and show them to the judge) and then makes us bike home with him following us with his lights on...oh my gosh. then we get back to our house, but we STILL haven't called the zone eladers and let them know we are in yet...so wehave to drive ALL the way back to the dairy queen (8 mile round trip) and use the pay phone, and then come home. AND that was just wednesday.
Thursday, we go to mission conference down in virginia beach and that wasn't too bad. It was like our goodbye for our mission president. We also got a brand spankin new phone which is basically a little black berry. haha it's awesome!
Then friday, we had a somewhat normal day, besides a ridiculously long member lesson.
The saturday. ohhh saturday. Alright. so, I had been having lots of problems with another ingrown toenail. SO I called up our medical advisor and she said to go to this medical place and get it taken care of. So I go to this place in williamsburg called "medexpress" (urgent care place) and they take me back. and so the doctor does the normal procedure, except he doesn't put any topical anastesia on my foot, so it like, hurts hardcore when he sticks me with the needle. Then when he comes in he pokes my foot and asks me if I can feel it. I can't feel the top but down near the nail bed I can feel a little poke. But he's like...well...we'll just start and if it gets to much to handle I'll give you more. I was like...UHM?! haha. But anyways. I thought oh yeah, so I can totally watch him do it this time, I've had it done enough, I'm a tough guy. haha. So I sit up to watch him. And I mean, he starts cutting under my nail with scissors and ya know, that's all fine na dandy. I watch him go all the way down to my nail bed and then all of a sudden a bunch of blood starts coming out. and I remember my vision started getting really...fuzzy and dim. and the last thing I remember saying to the doctor was this: "you know, I think I might be squeemish.." The next thing I remember was waking up and their was a nurse and the doctor looking over me. I was having a hard time talking or opening my eyes and my arms were all tingly. I was also really really sweaty. I had passed out >.< hahaha. But that isn't even the end of it. I got all the paper work done and he prescribed me some anti biotics and vicadin haha. so I was feeling way out of it and obviously couldn't drive. so I went and got my prescriptions filled at a walgreens accross the way and we got on our way. I was not even in the car like, 5 mintues when I had to throw up haha. My comp pulled over and I just lost it all over the road. Then we had to go to walmart to get those dang LIGHTS and I threw up again there. That's when I took some vicadin. haha. and then I went home (and threw up again) and was passed out for basically the rest of the day. That DUMB doctor MANGLED my toe. I guess when he was pulling the nail out, it was breaking off into chunks so he had to dig in my toe. I'm still wearing a stupid post-op boot because of it. I am out of vicadin and the pains not too bad but soon I"ll be back in a normal shoe.

which leads me to my NEXT announcement. I'm Getting transferred! SUCK. They are closing new kent and it makes me sad...but I don't think it's cause of what we did cause if that was the case they would've just put new elders there. But I'm going to be with the zone leaders in virginia beach! New address! And don't worry if you've sent anything, () I'll make it so it all gets forwarded to me. But here it is:

Elder H. Christensen
6478 Chartwell Dr.
Virginia Beach, VA 23464

BUt oh my gosh. haha. I liked your picture. haha you both looked way bored.

that's awesome the uncle kurt got his masters degree. Tell him congratulations! haha aunt lorna can write whenever she wants, I'll write back right away! haha.

alright, the questions!

1. Since we are getting transferred, nobodies really getting taught. But I'll let you know when I'm in Virginia Beach!

2. Yeah my other comp went home yesterday. His flight got canceled though so he's stuck till later. hahaha.

3. I don't know about the new companions yet. They are zone leaders but I heard they are awesome. So I'll let you know!

4. weirdo's eh...Let's see. we get lots of weirdo's who yell at us for slociting when we aren't soliciting. It happens all the stinkin time it's ridiculous. uhm I don't know what else to tell ya! haha.

5. the only weird thing I've had since I've been on the mission is green jellow with cabbage, carrots and celery in it. and the member told us to put mayo on it. hahaha.

6. missionaries always spend SOME time going door to door! It's the least effective way to find people, but sometimes it's the only way to do it.

I will definitely write dad a letter today. no worries. I love him enough to send him something! you should see our house...it's vacant...we got rid of EVERYTHING. it's kinda sad :( but anyways

I gotta go! Love y'all so much and be safe! I know you said something about a birthday package and sending garments so make sure you send em to the new address! Thank you and I love you lots!

may 19th catch up on the blog time!

So I have been slow with Hunters blog in last few weeks because frankly Hunter hasn't had anything in his email's worth putting on here! His last few emails have been either asking for things or sorry for spending money and telling us about his ailments! so I have tried to compile some of the interesting stuff from his last few emails here.

you woulda laughed at my talk haha...I would've just babbled for 15 minutes cause I forgot I was giving it until the night before and I think the night before is when I was dying from allergies.

Oh that reminds me! You'll here a better explanation about it on the tape when I send it home (the first side is almost full! haha) But the other night I woke up at like 450 in the morning with a absolutely horrible pain in my chest, like right below my sternum. At first I thought I should just shift on the bed because maybe I had slept on nit wrong or something. But it still didn't go away and I was in serious pain. So figuring it was probably heartburn or something I got up and and tried to find the tums in the dark. I found em and took three and sat down on the couch hopefully the pain would go away. It still didn't get any better. and It was excrutiating. One of the worst pains I've felt. It was also making it hard to breathe and it made me feel like I was gonna throw up. So I went in the bathroom and sat on the ground and just was feeling like I was gonna die. I think it was funny haha because even though I was in so much pain I just kept thinking "Heavenly Father...please help me...I don't wanna go to the hospital..." haha. But it still wasn't getting any better. And so I went into the bedroom and turned on the light and said "ELDERS, WAKE UP" and they were like, what in the world is going on? and I just told them I had this really bad pain in my chest and I didn't know what it was and I needed a blessing NOW! haha. And so my companions gave me a blessing and honestly I don't even remember what was said, but what I do remember is that as soon as my companion laid his hands on my head the pain started to leave and by the end of the blessing it was completely gone. Now you may say that it was the tums or wahtever but I know it was Heavenly Father's hand in it. If it hadn't gotten better in the next few minutes I would've had the elders drive me the 45 minutes to the hospital. But it was a really cool experience and I talked with the medical advisor about it later and she said it was probably just really bad heartburn/gas and I agreed. I mean it was terrible but I didn't think I was having a heart attack or anything. It was funny because she thought that I thought I was having one haha. But yeah the medicine I had to buy was to help with that problem. Because I've been having some problems with heartburn and whatnot over the past few months, so hopefully this should help.

ANYWAYS!

no our branch doesn't feed us every night! we'll get about three or so dinner appointments every week. They are trying to make it better but it's hard in a little branch and I guess the fact that we always say we are fine when people ask us for food kinda puts people off. But we don't MEAN to do that, we just don't want to be a burden on people so I'm not gonna ASK for food! It's like inviting yourselves over to their house! haha. But yeah I try to eat better we have been doing pretty good. This last week we bought carrots and potatoes and apples and a few other things to try and eat healthier! I love making baked potatoes in the microwave! so good! haha.

haha you'll do awesome when you talk! Just don't write it all out and you'll be fine! Make sure you just have certain points and scriptures you wanna talk about and it will be a great talk!

The frontrunner is that one we always see going back and forth when we are down there right? That thing would be way fun to ride on! I'm glad utah was fun! Tell them all I miss them and they are awesome! haha. Yeah I'd lvoe to see the pictures you have! I'd send some but you've seen em.
Well I gotta go myself, gots lot of stuff to do but we had a crazy thunderstorm a couple days ago, and you'll hear it on the tape but I saw a ton of fireflys for the first time and I just sat on the porch and watched the lightning! it was so cool.
MAY 26TH
haha I'm sure you did fine in your talk! Talks are not that bad because they all know and trust you! haha. I did get my allergy meds! Took a little while but I got it figured out. I'm tellin ya the only reason I go to rite aid is to get certain things like: deodorant, body wash/shampoo, medicine, or batteries. and ONCE IN A WHILE pictures. I can't help the battery thing because several of my things need batteries to work. And Virginia is having a hurricane preparedness week thing so things like batteries, tarps, lanterns adn all that stuff is tax free so I might pick up some more to save money. (not tarps or lanterns obviously just batteries haha)

I'll go ahead and buy some prilosec when I'm at the store today. I'll take it. I think it will help. I'm hoping it will help my stomach cause I still have those stomach issues like when I drink milk and stuff. It's frustrating! But I'm more than happy to take it! haha. with the eating before bed thing, we have to eat dinner at 8 o'clock in this area because if we don't have an appointment at 8 it's too dark to knock on peoples doors and people get upset. we actually had someone call the sheriff on us for knockin on their door at 8:30. ha! The pain in the chest hasn't come back so I think I'm alright. But you know how it goes.

You'll hear my response to that on the tape :P

Yeah I'm gonna keep working on it. We've been biking like no other lately so that's helped. but my companions chain broke yesterday so that's done until he gets another chain.
We actually had a funny experience with the branch wanting to feed us deal. We got a call from a member yesterday in the evening telling us to meet him at food lion. And he went and bought us like, almost 90 dollars worth of groceries! I was like :O! But we can't like, say NO to that! ugh.

I'm glad you weather has been intense...ours has been kinda HOT. The humidity is so bad sometimes. It makes you sweet when you don't even feel hot. I inherited a camel back from another elder so I use that in my backpack so I get water and what not but it's so bad sometimes. I mean yesterday I was sweating like a pig even when it wasn't that hot! gosh!

Yeah that's fine about the letter! I hope everyone is doing ok. Tell sis dunmire beer that I got the package and I'm so grateful for it! I loved it all! Early signs are showing me that the dvd doesn't work completely (like the menu comes up and stuff but no videos will play) but hopefully it's just the dvd player. They sent me a dvd with all the mormon messages on it from youtube! The may not realize it but that stuff is like, missionary GOLD. My comps were so jealous when I pulled that out HAHAHAHA. But it was in vain...no work-o. :P But tell them thank you so much!
But I love you all so much! Please stay safe and tell dad (if he doesn't read this first) that I love him too and I'm so sorry I'm a super lame son and didn't have anything to send him for his birthday. I hope it was good though.

JUNE 2
The allergies are doin justttt fine. And yes. It's EXTREMELY warm here. like, the past few days has been up in the 90's. It's terrible. And the humidity makes it not fun. haha. I noticed y'all were having lots of rain. It's pretty boring I bet haha. we had a pretty sweet thunderstorm last night. I wish I could video tape it for you cause it's amazing. haha.

oh man the yard looks crazy. It looks alot bigger! That's insane...did the machine just like rip off the top layer or what? haha. It sounds like the yard is really coming along! I'm excited to see it when it's done! I do get the pictures I justalways see them after I read everything else so I sometimes don't comment on them haha.

Thank y'all for being so patient and helping with me...I'm trying to do my best with what I got but I just can't spend my msf on certain things.

holy cow random story here but I swear some people should not be allowed to use computers because this guy sitting next to me is smashing the mouse with his finger cause he's getting so upset with the computer. There should be a sign that says "if you have temper and/or high blood pressure problems, don't even bother using this." over each computer haha. He's sighing that frustrated sigh ever 5 seconds AHFLKJSDHFLKSDJF

Anyways....

I love y'all so much and miss you tons. Please keep us in your prayers and please please please stay safe! My birthday is in like 3 weeks! Crazy! haha

JUNE 8
haha you all are lucky! It's been like 95 with 100% humidity here a couple days ago! It sucks! haha oh well.

I'm gonna say the lawn is gonna turn into the pond kinda deal haha it'll take 3 years before it's finally finished! haha. keep putting it off cause of the rain and you'll never get it done! haha.

yeah I heard about that missionary like, back at the beginning of my mission. His name is Elder young. Way sad story, he was just in the right place at the wrong time. But you know he is recieving those blessings in heaven. But don't worry about it. I've already had guns pulled on me (only once! haha I just don't tell you about it ;D) and no one is foolish enough to shoot. Don't worry yourself about it!
I'll attached another epic picture! We got a bunch of ties this week and I got a bunch of skinny ties! The one in the picture is about as skinny as I can wear. haha. the other one is to skinny to be legit. haha. I love em!

I'll keep an eye out for the bishop! I don't even know if we cover burke. I'll have to check!

Your trip sounds awesome! I love portland. I would've loved to have gone with y'all. That's one thing a mission has done...makes me want to just spend all the time with y'all! haha it's like the whole reason I wanna defer college till january is so I can be home with everyone for a bit. haha. I loved the pictures! That voodoo donuts place looked interesting...weird people in portland fo sho. haha.

Ya korihor died because even though he said, oh well satan tricked me, he wasn't sincere, and like Alma said, if his voice was given back he would've just started deceiving again. so yeah. you'll notice that alma didn't condemn him to die, the Lord cursed him.
Alright well I gotta go! I love y'all so much because how awesome you are! Stay safe and we'll talk next week!

Mi Madre!

Yeah so Elder Reynolds is gone! haha he went home yesterday. So it's me and Elder Blair again for a few days then we pick up our new companion, Elder Jensen tommorow. I don't think Elder Jensen's been out very long cause no one knows who he is haha. But that's cool. So I'm staying in new kent! haha it's my longest area now! And my longest companion! so we are rocking it. haha. I'm not gonna lie, this is a tough area. We tract all the time and nothing seems to happen...but I know if we are doing our best it doesn't matter. So yes.

Oh gosh I got bit by a tick this week! First time ever! haha. Oh and that whole "use the head of a burned out match" thing is false. haha. Apparently it's actually very dangerous cause the tick will spit everything back into you if you do that and it can give you lyme disease! bad news bears.

Yeah so it was fun elder reynolds parents showed up on sunday...which is was interesting since he still had two days left X_x. But yeah that was interesting! haha.

oh man...so this last week I went on exchanges with my zone leaders and they work with the young single adults in our zone and so we went to this college campus call william and mary (williamsburg) and tried to talk with students. That campus is actually way awesome cause its right basically in colonial williamsburg. So I got to see that. BUt heres the interesting part. Apparently every year willaim and mary has this tradition called "blow out day" where everyone gets super drunk from like 5 am and just drinks all day long. And hollllly cow. There was not a single sober person on that campus. And there were TONS of people. I don't know how they get away with it but yeah. It was ridiculous haha. Crazy crazy students there. Like as we were talking to thsi guy I saw a girl so drunk that her friend had to drag her off a table and sit her down somewhere else. So glad I'm not an alchoholic. haha.

That's awesome that ryan is doing good! I loved the pictures. Definitely keep going ryan! I am way proud of ya!

So No prob on the short email gives me time to send oyu more pictures! haha. But yeah, so I'll call you at 6 pm my time, which is 3 pm your time. ok? I'll call the house so be prepared for that! my area code is 804 so if you see that number, answer! haha.

Thank you for sharing that missionary thing with me. We do soemthing similiar called the member lesson series. What it is is we get a list of 10 families from the bishop and we set up this with each family so that we come by 1 a week for four weeks and share a short 20 minutes lesson. We encourage them to bring a non member friend for it, but it's not like, required. It's good because it's direct towards the member and not the investigator, so it's a really non-threatening environment for them to just listen and see what's going on. It's great.

But I'll cut it short too! I'll call ya on sunday! 6 pm EST! 3 pm PST! Don't be late!

haha love ya!

april 21

Yeah I am still ok with driving. You get two strikes and you're out! haha. It's called "red-dotting". Cause when you aren't allowed to drive your picture on the transfer board gets a red-dot. It's not good! haha.

Yeah I had my interviews with President Millburn yesterday and he talked with me about it and I basically told him I wasn't gonna make excuses about it because I was just being careless. And he said yeah, just learn from it! So I am. I'm workin on it!

Jordan's lookin awesome in those pictures! He's way buff! haha. It sounds like he's having fun though which is awesome. Track is a fun deal if you get into it. It was a little weird with the third picture (I think) with the guy messing with his short shorts in the background haha. But otherwise, keep up the good work jordan!

So I didn't know they did track in middle school! haha. Shows how into sports I was then...haha. That's cool though. That's awesome that he's doing a running event, that's not easy! Especially with someone who has asthma! haha. He beat Reed? Holy cow! haha. That's awesome that Frank has been coming though, I really need to write him. I just haven't had time yet and I lost his email againnnn...gall. I'm lookin forward to more pictures though!

That's cool that Jordan and Ryan are stil pushing forward on scouts. You'd be surprised how few missionaries get their eagle. I don't think any of my companions so far have it. So tell jordan and ryan to keep workin on it cause it's worth it! Don't stop at life! Don't be a lifer!
Yeah we had an interesting incident this morning with my companions...haha. Well so we had a member give us two containers last night, one that had brownies in it and the other with cookies in it. And Elder Blair took to those brownies and ate like, the whole container by himself, minus like 4 brownies. And then when me and Elder Reynolds were eating the cookies, he wanted to eat the cookies too! I was like, no elder. You ate all the brownies and we want the cookies. And after some arguing and yelling he stormed off into the bathroom and sat in there powting for ten minutes. This literally happened...20 minutes ago? haha. I know I need to apologize (and I will after we leave the library) and it was a stupid thing to argue over but he doesn't realize that other people wanted those brownies too and he can't have it all. I just feel like I am always the one apologizing and it drives me crazy! But I guess I just need to keep doing what I need to do. Yeah I talked with President yesterday about my companions "ready-ness to go home" (trunkiness haha) and he told me he committed them to stay focused and if there were any more problems to talk to him. So yeah basically he told me to man up and get out of my comfort zone and stand up for what I know is right when my comps aren't doing it. So yeah I realized I need to stop being so passive on things that I know are wrong.

So yes. I am a human being. I do things wrong. Surprise there!

Oh and just real slang words we try to avoid cause we're supposed to be representatives of the Lord and when we are walking around saying words like "pissed" "gay" and things of that kind it doesn't put off the best representation of Christ, does it? haha.

Allergies have gotten better! Well, mostly cause it's been raining! haha. But yeah I've got my inhaler. I'm fine on that end. haha mom I don't think you understand where I'm living! Imagine...brownsville, and then subtract half that city! We have a rite aid, a food lion, a subway, a dairy queen, and a library. THAT'S IT! hahaha. It's actually pretty sad! But I love it we walk down dirt roads all the time. I've got enough nose spray and singulair. And the pills you sent are drowsy so I can only take them at night, which I do.
haha we aren't gonna have a hurricane any time soon...I think hurrican season starts in either june and july and goes until november. That's when tornadoes show up too :) If I see a tornado I am totally taking a picture of it! haha. I had a crazy dream last night that we got hit a giant storm. Like a really bad hurrican and it had a huge tornado in the middle ofit. But virginia is overdue for a bad storm so we'll see!

haha that is not a good dream mom! I will drive carefully. I talked to some members about my ticket and they said that new kent county cops are mean! And they won't lesson my ticket even if I show up. Like they said that since it's a way country county that it's how they make their revenue is off tickets. So yeah...sorry! haha.

haha I'm excited to call you again! what day is mothers day? I can't remember haha. But I won't forget to call I promise! It'll be good!
I haven't seen any of the sites here yet! We just haven't had time. There's so many things...There's the yorktown battlefield site, theirs colonial jamestown and williamsburg, theres the jamestown victory center, and theres the jamestown settlement holy cow so much history! I said in my last email that I had a picture of the chapel where martha and george washington got married! haha.

That's pretty intense about the earthquake! It's crazy how many there have been lately! Be careful and prepared for them in our area! If you haven't heard oregon is overdue for a major earthquake. Like 9.0+ stuff. So just be prepared! Promise?

haha well I hope stuff does pick up soon! I can't believe it's almost june! mom in a little over 3 months I'll be on my mission for a whole year! That is absolutely crazy! So scary too! It's going way to fast.

So how's the scriptures going? I finished the book of mormon a couple days ago and started into the pearl of great price. holy cow don't read moses and abraham unless you are actually going to study them because you miss so much if you aren't paying attention. It's got alot of the plan of salvation in there and the creation and whatnot. It's crazy!

But I love y'all so much. Miss you tons. Please be safe and I'll look forward to hearing from you next week!

Love y'all

Hunter.

April 7th

Hey Hey HeyYeah I am trying to be obediant in spite of it all. I am still the one who gets up at 6:30 and trying to do my best in being obediant. I don't want to worry about it anymore! I just want to be a good missionary. And being disobediant would weigh too much on my conscience for me to feel like I was being a good missionary...I don't know. I feel like things are getting better but having two old-timer missionaries makes it hard to stay focused sometimes :S
Yeah I was talking with elder terry yesterday at a zone conference and I realized how lucky I was to have a companion like him. Having someone who is wanting to be as obediant as he can is a blessing, not a curse like I thought it was. He may have been a little over the top, but at least he was trying to do his best.
Tell jordan he is the man for cutting his hair! haha it's a good thing!

That's good that jordan is doing pretty good in track! That's awesome that he got to run varsity for a bit! Ask him if he's been to "the hill" yet? haha. Ryan was telling me he is going to be doing shotput and diskus? that'd be awesome!
Ok before I go any further, CRAZY story about what happened a couple days ago. So there is this brother in our branch that we go and help with service every once in a while (because he has had some major back and spinal surgeries and can't do any yardwork himself), and then he usually feeds us lunch. He's a great guy and I like helping him out. His yard is basically like this: he has a big property his house sits on and it's all fenced off by a chain link fence (about 3 feet tall) and then outside the back side of his fence is a forest that is also his property. So we were over there the other day and Elder Blair and myself were helping him split wood, while Elder Reynolds was putting together a cabinet for him on the other side of the yard. The brother we were helping had a tiny smoldering burn pile that he threw scraps of wood and other garbage onto. So we finished splitting wood and it then he took us out to lunch. Now when we left that burn piled was just smoking basically. And we weren't even gone more than 50 minutes. We pull back into the brothers house and there are fire trucks EVERYWHERE and we get back there and look into the forest behind his house and it's all BLACK. Turns out somehow an ember or something blew into the brush near the burn pile and caught it all on fire. Holy cow it was so intense. Thankfully none of us got in trouble for doing anything. But he is so lucky, because right next to the burn pile is this tarp tent and it like half melted. But in this tent is FIVE 5 gallon canisters of gasoline that, if they had exploded, would've probably burned down his house. So that was a blessing. And it didn't help that we have been having 90+ degree weather these past few days...yikes!

So that was my crazy experience of the week! haha.

haha it sounds like april fools was a fun day for you this year! we like did nothing. haha. The only holidays that matter to missionaries is christmas and mothers day. haha
haha it's been so hot here...it was 98 degrees at one point yesterday! and holy cow mom...you remember when the allergy doctor said something about how I wasn't even going to need a portion of the medicine in virginia that I used at home? What a dirty liar! You should SEE the pollen that sticks to our car during a day. Our car turns YELLOW because of it. And I'm not even lying. Thankfully I have my medicine and I take it so I am fine. But the other day it was really bad and I had a hard time breathing for a bit. But it's all taken care of!
That's awesome you are in mosiah! Don't even worry about alma. Half of it is war chapters which you can read through really quick. There is so much important stuff though. I love it! I just finished 3rd nephi today! It is awesome. and it was timed perfect with easter and whatnot. I love the scriptures!

It was so awesome to hear the apostles talk about Jesus Christ at conference. It helps me build my testimony. I know it's true and it makes me want to share what I've felt so badly. I see people sometimes and think what their life can be like with the Gospel. It's a good motivator.

Well I will leave you with that. I am doing well and dad can expect a reply here shortly from his letter.

I love you all so much and miss you a ton. And just as nehemiah said as he was rebuilding the walls of jeresulem, "I am doing a great work, and cannot come down."

Peace and Love

Hunter

MARCH 31ST

Things are going well. I am struggling a bit with my companion...s. haha. It's just hard cause they are both somewhat trunky and it's causing alot of stuff to be less effective than it should be. And you know me, I hate to raise a conflict with others so I don't fight it and it's hard cause I'm trying to be an example and get up on time and do what I'm supposed to but when I'm the only one and they act like I'm a stickler because of it....I don't know. Yeah they are wonderful missionaries though. When we do teach they are great. It's just little things here and there you know.
But things are still going good. They closed one of the areas in my district so we lost two sisters :( But the rest are doing good! And one of the sisters from my mtc district is in williamsburg now so I get to talk to her sometimes so thats cool! And I don't know if you remember Elder Barson from the mtc? But he is my zone leader now! haha. And guess who is with the zoneleaders as their companion...augh it's elder terry again! haha I'm just playing I love the elder he's just an interesting guy.
Weather has gotten alot better here...today is supposed to be 74 and tommorow is going to be 83 :D Finally slack season! haha. We had some CRAZY thunder and lightening the other night though. We were all asleep and this one crack of thunder woke all three of us up at the same time. haha. It was nuts. We live right next to the train tracks and trains are constantly going by so we thought a train derailed! haha.
I'm excited to see the yard work! Ryan said you cut down the tree! :O What's up with that! haha. But I'm sure it will be cool when I get back! We've been doing yard work too lately! haha we have a member (Who honestly is pretty creepy) who has had us over every saturday for a couple of weeks for a couple of hours to help him with hsi yard. We've transplanted flower bushes and dragged big old trees into the forest adna ll kinds of stuff. Oh! and I saw a tick for the first time there! haha they are nasty little things!

haha I'm glad you are paying attention in the scriptures! haha yes omni is an interesting couple of verses. It's good stuff though. Some really powerful scriptures especially before hand in enos. BUt pay attention in the first part of mosiah, sometimes people pass up how much awesome doctirine is in there. So don't forget it!

I'm in 3rd nephi right now, right after Christ comes to them. It's really interesting. I like that stuff alot and You should see my sciptures, cause they are like a rainbow haha. But I've gained a limited understanding that I never would've seen before my mission. It's really cool.

I'm glad y'all are doing scriptures. It's hard but gosh if Jordan and Ryan get behind it it'll be so worth it. Don't give up on it!

The intereviews were great! The first one was the best. Those interviews are some of the most spritual events you experiences as a missionary. You get to let someone new to the gospel bear their testimony to you. It's a lift when you almost get monotanous to the spirit if that makes sense! haha.

well besides that not much is going on so I'll let y'all go! I love you so much and am so grateful for you. next week is conference so take a question you have and ask heavenly father to answer it for you! And watch conference and I know you'll find an answer!

Love you all and I'll talk to you next wednesday! STAY SAFE

LOVE

Hunter.

Hey Hey Hey!!!

It sounds like y'all had a fun week! Bald hill is always a fun hike. I'm gonna have to do it when I get home. I remember all that stuff and I want to do it so bad for some reason haha. And yeah with the twilight thing, if the mission has taught me anything, it's this: a man is a fool if he condemns something he has never read. It infuriates me to no end when someone rags on the book of mormon then turns around and says they've never read it. SO. I MIGHT attempt to read it when I come home. But I won't rag on it anymore. Because I have never read it and have no idea if it is good or not. yes. /rant.

Your plans for the yard sound awesome! It's going to be weird to come home to a different yard and whatnot, but I figured it would be so long it would be foreign to me anyways haha. But You'll definitely have to send me some pictures when it happens! I wanna see the work in progress haha. How are you planning on redoing the pond? Like what is it gonna look like when it's done?

I'll definitely try the positives thing. I may not be very good at it haha but I will be needing it...I found out today I'm still district leader for the next 6 weeks AND we are getting a third companion. His name is Elder Reynolds. He is going home in 6 weeks >.< so he's already really trunky from what I hear. It's gonna bug me to no end!

hahaha yeah the dating thing is interesting. You get a better perspective on it out here because you see what happens when things go bad. You see that oh it's all fun and whatnot as youre a teenager to date but then things go sour and you have a baby and you've got to provide for a family when youre 18 and it's terrible. Satan so easily persaudes people to do evil for the temporary happiness. But it's just not worth it in the long run. People are just so short sighted nowadays. They have no perspective for the future. It's just "Do what you can to be happy now because you have no idea what it's gonna be like tommorow." It's really sad to see...

We haven't done the interviews yet but we are doing them tonight. I'm actually doing two baptismal interviews >.< But it'll be a fun learning experience. I'm interviewing an 20 something year old guy and a 9 year old kid haha. It's gonna be fun when I have to ask the 9 year old if he's ever participated in an abortion or had a homosexual relationship xD haha just kidding.

Yeah. The bike thing. we are trying to work it out. Don't get upset at President Millburn, it's not his fault. They have to deal with so many bikes it just hard to keep track of em all. If I had realized that this might happen I would've put my name on it to begin with. But of course hindsight is 20/20.

My Bike got lost in the transfer from Burkville to Harrisonburg. I got a temp bike up there but it wasn't mine. SO I'm trying to get that one down here because this one I'm using now doesn't have good breaks. FUN STUFF. haha.
When I get transferred, it all depends on where I'm going, but generally it's by a transfer van that the assistants drive. The transfer meeting happens in richmond, and from there they assistants drive the transfer van full of missionaries getting transfered down to the denbigh chapel in newport news. From there tehy drive down to virginia beach and drop off/pick up any missionaries moving. They the ncome back to denbigh and go back to richmond from there. It doesn't run in the northern half of the mission. So in those cases a member drives us. haha.

I'm glad you are happy that I was able to talk with President. It really was a good talk and I'm fine with the results. I am just trying to figure all this out. We are losing an area from my district this transfer because of a shortage of missionaries. But It's all good. I like it alot. It'll be much easier here with a third missionary so we can go into single sisters houses without exchanges. haha.

haha tell dad he needs to step it up on letters! I'm waiting for him! haha.

haha if Jordan and Ryan only realized how lucky they were to be bored and not have anything to do. If we have time like that (minus p-day) we're doing something wrong! haha.

yeah the coming out to virginia deal I was just throwing out there as an idea. It's too far away to make any kind of definite plans. But keep it in mind!

That's so CRAZY that mike got his mission call finally! I was wondering when the heck he would finally get going on that! And even crazier on where he is going! Philippines! That's insane! he's the onyl one of us besides David that went foreign! haha It's gonna be so awesome when he comes home...oh man.

Quick story and then I gotta go!

So the other day Elder Blair and I decided we were gonna go tract this long road at the top of our area. We get to it and realize that it's a dirt road, but that theres a house or something allllll the way down at the end. So we start walking down and we get going and it's like, a mile and a half or something to the very end. We get there and there ARE some house out there. So we walk up to the first one (who's driveway was like 600 yards long) and knock. No answer. So we're about to knock again and all of a sudden we hear a gator (little tractor deal) drive off. So we see this guy driving away and we are like ok...well he's driving off, so let's just leave a pass a long card and go to the next one. So we start walking away and we look back and I see him staring at us. So I'm like...ok? and we keep walking. Then I look back and he's following us in his little gator. And then I see something on his lap. Long and brown. And I'm like, holy cow. Is this guy really following us out of here with a gun? And we look back again and he's still following us real slow and sneaky like. And we are like holy cow he really doesn't want us out here. So we decide to leave. And we just left but holy cow I think we got chased out by a guy with a gun! haha.

Well anyways. That's all to report right now! THings are going awesome and I lvoe the work and I can't believe it's almost 8 months here in a couple of days. so crazy.

LOVE

Hunter
